The game started with Kirkham going straight at Lytham. The attack of Todd Roper, Sam Tattersall and Adam Dinsley giving Lytham no end of problems but alas no goal for all their effort. Both Will Hughes and James Barber were tremendous in defence keeping Lytham at bay for most of the match. Man of the the Match Connor Tattersall was brilliant in goal making many a good save and saving a Lytham penalty. Constant Lytham pressure eventually paid off scoring 2 second half goals. Jackson Ashworth in midfield never stopped running but alas in vain.

The second game started with both teams looking like they didn't want to win. When the game settled down Kirkham started to impose themselves with very strong performances from keeper Brodie Collier and the back line of Lewis Masters
and Sam Howarth. Connor McNeillie worked hard in midfield and Matty Neil on the right caused Lytham problems. The breakthrough came from a fine pass by Man of The Match Tom Jefferson for Tom Gargett to smash in his 26th goal of the season. A late Lytham flurry led to an equaliser.
