Lytham Juniors A 2 v Kirkham Juniors A 0



With another break of around four weeks since the last game Kirkham got off to a slow start conceding two early goals. Constant pressure from James Boardman, Todd Roper, James Barber and Adam Dinsley failed to break to Lytham resolve. As a second half substitute Man of the match Jackson Ashworth hit the woodwork with a thumping shot. The pressure continued through the second half resulting in a quite second half for goalkeeper Brodie Collier & defenders Will Hughes and Lewis Masters.





Lytham Juniors B 3 v Kirkham Juniors B 1



Kirkham again conceded an early goal & struggled to get out of their own half. Connor McNeillie had Kirkhams only real chance of the first half. Another goal was conceded before half time. The match turned around in the second half with good pressure from Tom Jefferson and Matty Neill. Tom Gargett scored a freak goal with the Lytham keeper taking his eye off the ball. A third goal followed by Lytham but Kirkham never gave up with good defending from Liam O'Farrell, Sam Howarth and Sam Mumberson. Man of the match goalkeeper Conor Tattersall made some fine saves to keep Lytham at Bay. Sam Tattersall came on to apply some extra pressure up front but to no avail.
