Normal service was resumed with an early strike from Adam Dinsley. The defence had a fairly quiet first half with Brody Collier, Sam Howarth & Will Hughes keeping Clifton at bay. The second half began again with Kirkham on the attack. After one of many goal mouth scrambles James Barber scored the second. Clifton replied after some pressure of their own. The third goal arrived after a blistering strike by Man of the Match James Boardman resulting in Tom Gargett knocking in at the corner. Substitute Sam Tattersall came on upfront to sure the attack up in the later stages.

This game was to get off to a slow start. The attack led by Jackson Ashworth, Matty Neill & Tom Jefferson struggled to break down the Clifton defence. With the match level at half time Kirkham started to apply some pressure. A fine strike by Man of the Match Conor McNeillie put Kirkham one up. The defence of Liam O'Farrell & Lewis Masters held out till later in the game. Late into the game a Clifton corner resulted in a brilliant save from Conor Tattersall only for Clifton to pinch an equaliser. Sam Mumberson came on upfront to try & help restore the lead but it wasn't to be.
