Kirkham A 6 Warton A 1

Having had just over a months break from action the boys started in the usual manner with an early goal from James Boardman. Quickly though Warton were back in the match with an equaliser. Kirkham then stepped up a gear again in a fairly even 1st half. Adam Dinsley scoring just before half time after a good strike by Sam Tattersall. The second half continued much the same as the 1st half had finished. The defence holding strong with Brody Collier doing what was needed when asked as did defenders Sam Howarth (a replacement for Will Hughes who was injured in the first half) & Lewis Masters. As the second half continued Man of the Match Adam Dinsley completed his brace as did James Boardman & James Barber(2) one strike curling into the corner with the goalkeeper a spectator.

Continuing in the same vain as the A match Kirkham scored 3 first half goals 2 from Matty Neill & 1 from Conor McNeillie. Warton did apply some pressure on stand in keeper Liam O' Farrell. Into the second half 6 more goals were to follow 2 more from Conor to complete his hatrick. Later in the game Tom Gargett who also scored a hatrick replaced Liam in goal who then played outfield. The defence held strong with Sam Mumberson & Jackson Ashworth keeping out Warton when asked. Jackson scored with a fine strike to complete his man of the match performance. Tom Jefferson as usual caused problems on the left wing for the Warton defence.
