Kirkham edged out Poulton in a closely fought game. Having taken the lead in the first half through man of the match Tom Gargett, they were nearly made to pay for missed chances in the dying seconds of the game. James Boardman was tireless as ever in midfield, and Brody Collier had another good day in goal.

The second game was more comfortable. Kirkham never looked back having taken the lead through Matty Neill following a penalty for a foul on Adam Dinsley. A second well earned goal from Adam Dinsley, and a final own goal sealed the points with Conor McNeillie, James Barber and Sam Mumberson ensuring a quiet day for keeper Conor Tatters.
