Tournament Squad Finish Second
Foxhall Tournament Squad :Tom, Brody, James, TJ, Adam, Lewis, Matty, Sean, James and Sam.
Having played 5 group games the boys finished top of their group winning 4 of the 5 games in close contests. Progress was made to the quarter finals where they faced Foxhall. With the score at 0-0 the game went to penalties with Kirkham just edging out the opposition. James Boardman scoring the crucial kick after some fine saves by the Kirkham goalkeeper. Facing Poulton Youth in the Semi Final again this was to be a tight game. The game was finished off by a strike a piece by Matty and Tom the game thus finishing 2-0. The Final was contested by ourselves and Myerscough Boys (runners up in our group). Again another tight game was to follow but finally Kirkham's luck ran out conceding 2 goals in the second half. All in all a great day for the boys and only conceding 2 goals all the way.
